Tolay Fall Festival

On Saturday Oct 18, we took the boys, our friend (and adopted family) Sandra and Brandon to the Tolay Fall Festival which is held in Petaluma. We wanted to do something a little different when it came to pumpkin picking this year. Here the boys are coming out of the Nighttime Creatures Barn. There were all kinds of creepy crawlers in there, along with some stuff animals. We also saw an owl up in the rafters, very cool.

On the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. Amee wasn't able to come with us, she had to work.

Here we are in the pumpkin patch. We actually had to giggle at this. See, no plants. They hauled the pumpkins out here from who knows where.

Taking our pumpkins back to the festival to pay for them.

Check out this Teepee, it's made of bark. I always thought they were wrapped with hides.

We had a good time, even though we didn't participate in the pumpkin seed spitting contest. David and I even made candles.
